Mike Riggs who stands for Scum of The Earth has some really cool past as for bands he was in to start from Demiltry, Skrew, Burn, Prong, a band of Rob Zombie which finally led him to SOTE rooted in Los Angeles. On Sleaze Freak CD you'll definitely find vibes very similar to what Rob Zombie offered on both White Zombie and his own solo albums as well as vibes known from Fear Factory CDs. This album is groovy but also very guitar driven, tho you may expect some more dynamic rhythms in Love Pig and Death Stomp tracks. 13 Freaks and Just Like Me have more heavy metal (kind of Ozzy Ozbourne) influences and I found interesting those almost balladesque guitar solos in the ending track. My favorite track is Hate X 13, very aggressive and heavy. If you've ever been a fan of White Zombie you'll find a nice surprise with Devilscum song. Just have a listen ;)
