Drug TV |PedigreeSonicUnderworld, 2003|

1. Head Drug Rising, 2. Hunter, 3. People From Hell, 4. Ghost Train, 5. Deathmask (demo), 6. Angel: Escape Dub, 7. Dark Matter (Motherhell Dub), 8. Plague Rages, 9. Head Drug Reprise, 10. Head Drug Rising Video

It's a very interesting album, driven by ideas and good compositions. It's heavy but less aggressive than Drug TV album released by the band in 2000. It's more dub and industrial but there are still very guitar driven tracks like Head Drug Rising, or on the other hand Deathmask (Demo) and People From Hell, both very psychodelic. I loved a harmonica and piano in Deathmask, they sound sooo surreal! I found Angel: Escape Dub also one of the most interesting songs on the CD. I guess the album may rise an interest in those of you who likes Jesu, Isis, Godflesh and some other heavy industrial tunes with a bit of dub and metal guitar riffs as well. Viva Estonia! ;)

Spite Rising |PedigreeSonicUnderworld, 2000|

1. Things You Need, 2. Overruler, 3. Lungs, 4. Station, 5. Meridian, 6. A Perfect Day Elise, 7. Deadlights, 8. Zero Point 2, 9. No Other Way, 10. Cold Crush Riser

Pedigree (founded in 1993 by Holden "Bonne" Laamann and Leslie Laasner) is definitely inspired by Godflesh, so thus by Pitchshifter and Treponem Pal as well. Pedigree's music IS heavy, slowly and aggressive. It's like a slowly driving road roller chewing up all it comes across on its way under a crushing cylinder. You won't find any too mellow or too frisky track on the CD. Even Deadlights besides its dynamics sounds heavy thanks to distorted vocals. There are echoes of CDs like Infotainment, Submit or Industrial albums by Pitchshifter, Selfless by Godflesh, Excess & Overdrive by Treponem Pal on Spite Rising CD. Pedigree aren't such famous but like those above but has released quite interesting number of albums. The band comes from Estonia and has been mentioned in most of serious metal music magazines.
