Lard like one of Al Jourgensen's collaborative projects owns a strong accent - ex-Dead Kennedys' leader Jello Biafra who gave the Lard songs lots of punk spirit and some of irony. The music at the album varies from typical industrial rock songs like strongly guitar driven Forkboy or Drug Raid At 4AM (Ministry influence beyond any doubts) to weird recalling Revolting Cocks songs. There is an ironical cover version of Jerry Samuels' 'They're Coming to Take Me Away' written in 1966. The genius song is Sylvestre Matuschka - rock fire, punk rebellion, ministerial guitars and screams by Biafra. ( Katarzyna NINa Górnisiewicz. Must not be used for promotional or commercial purposes.
