Reading interviews with them makes me more happy than listening to their music although they gathered lots fans and the music is well done and solid. Fear Factory has its own easy to remember style - dense drums and low pitched guitars. It's not industrial rock although it fits to industrial metal music style. Personally I'm tired of such amount of trash vocals with low tuned and noisy sounds but if I'm fucked off so why not..? ;) Not sure how to describe Digimortal because all of the songs sound similar one to another and it doesn't let me value this record high. Fear Factory is a factory of low tuned sounds and trash music style = no mercy! :) There are some samples or synthetic sounds from time to time so the band's music is called industrial-metal sometimes. There are lots of sounds known from Obscolete album although I got an impression everything's arranged with the same pattern.
