If You Were Mine Stayte isn't that new band on the industrial rock scene, but because the musicians are a part of other bands, they release new albums quite seldom. Let's zoom in - the vocalist Josh Bradford plays with Revolting Cocks and Simple Shelter. Guitar player and producer Clayton Worbeck cooperates with Revolting Cocks and Ministry. The live guitar player and second vocalist Andy Whorehall stands proudly for his The Narcosis Design. Besides, there is a guest bass player on the EP - Paul Barker, ex Ministry bass player, these days working with U.S.S.A. (preparing for a tour with Chemlab, Fall 2007). There are also the drummer Pat Labuda and a live bass player Derek Philips in the band. Their music is a mixture of rock (The Killing Kindness, Calling On The Stars, If You Were Mine), industrial rock (Cognitive Dissonance, I Love You In Red) and gothic rock (Villain). Tracks are kept in one balanced vibe, firmly built and performed in an experienced way. Besides, it's easy to hear the musicians have their own worked out styles and all of them know their creative abilities.
