Werk |MJM Music PL/Werk Industry, 1994|

Dead Fish, Liar, I Need You, Remorse, G.O.D., Are You Ready, Robak, Inside, Sick, Flying Fish, War, To Madness, Skin, Poland

This album was recorded by a Polish band in the spirit of industrial rock music in the mid 90's. I liked mostly the tape booklet design and the song Sick because of older NIN-like ventures. This is the only one Hedone album with such a music so if you need to look into Polish industrial rock listen to that. Hedone would have standed a chance of catching attention of the international industrial rock scene if they had opened for the world in the 90's. Polish listeners as well as the record labels wasn't ready to take an adventage of being a part of that style of music. The rest of Hedone songs stands off such music on other albums. To paraphrase Kade, The Statue of Liberty has always been a symbol of freedom, hope, a lighting of the way, but under Bush the symbol had become a symbol of "Screw you. The rules and regulations of Foreign Policy don't apply to the U.S. The U.S. walks tall and carries a big gun”. Nuff said. Mob Research (2009)
